Scarred Hunt

Amsel sighed, eating the remnants of a hotdog he had found lying amongst the garbage right outside of a café, looking at the city lights from the rooftops. He sighed, scratching his left arm before discarding the wrapping on the now fully devoured hotdog. He wiped any residue from his meal from his lips before standing and walking to the other side of the building.

"Father, where did you go? Why did you do this to me. Why?" Amsel thought, jumping to the adjacent rooftop as he started his search for a safe place to sleep for the night.

James, James Emaniel, the scarred-flesh alchemist ,one of the few chose in his life that had been influnced by his own emotions was to become a state alchemist but nevertheless the tital had not been helping him in the recent weeks. the dog of the military retuine was getting old rejected from inns and housing he had been forced into the most unacceptable of places. If only he had some way to get some good standing in this town then he could be sitting pretty in a nice cozy hotel.
That's when he saw the shadow from above it moved swiftly and cleanly unhuman in its flawless jumps from roof to roof. " Chimera!" James knew them all too well. He clenched his fist. " Your head will be mine!" He placed a hand on the ground and fist made from stone shot out and swirled after the chimera like a heat seeking missle.

Amsel nearly jumped in surprise when heard someone call him that name, that horrid name. Still, he didn't want to fight, he didn't want to hurt anyone. His thoughts were interrupted as the rocky fist hit him square in the back, knocking the young man off his feet and onto his stomach.

The chimeran boy gritted his teeth, slowly rising to his feet before running once again, jumping onto a higher building. He grabbed onto a small window ledge with his left hand, and using his left arm's strength, he vaulted himself up the wall of the building until he finally reached it's roof, which he quickly ran across, trying to lose the alchemist on his tail.

As the attack came threw a second symbol on the alchemist's other hand glowed and raised a platform to the top of the roof the chimera had been on first. " Don't attempt to run kid you know you won't get far." James warned as he once again placed his right hand on the ground and a pillar of rock carried him to the next rooftop. He ran across it chasing down Amsel. " Come on kid just face it like a man!"

"No! Leave me alone!" Amsel replied, running to the corner of the building and jumping off, the building below being roughly ten feet lower than the building the stood upon now. Of course, Amsel wasn't aiming for the roof, and took a deep breath as he plummeted into the chimney of the home, using his arms and legs to slow his descent as he crashed at the bottom of the thankfully unlit chimney. He quickly sprinted past the startled couple sharing the room and dove through the window, shattering the glass and rolling back onto his feet as he fled down the alleyway.

" Dang kids these days." James stomped the ground and a board of pure rock appeared from the roof of the building he quickly grabbed it and jumped off the corner Amsel had. " Stop trying to escape!" Instantly alchemy signs from all over Jame's body lit up and the air around him changed density and type of gas rapidly, while changing his own density to accomadate for the changing air, causing his board and he to float down rather gracefully while still gaining on Amsel.

Amesl ran out into the street, pausing only to tear the metallic lid off of a manhole with his left arm before quickly jumping down into the sewers below. The wretched stench was practically overwhelming, but Amsel couldn't honestly care as he quickly took the path to the right of the ladder.

James lept from the stone board and into the sewer hole alchemy lights flashing as the water turned to ice on contact with jame's feet he went spinning in circled after Amesl sliding threw with the ice making the side of the tunnel iced over to encircle it as he chased Amesl.
